Nestled on the slopes of the clay-limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion, Château La Croizille stretches out in a single block in a natural amphitheater carved into the rock, offering a diversity of soils and exposures. Between Château Tertre Rotebœuf and Château Troplong Mondot, it dominates the landscapes of Saint-Laurent-des-Combes, between 30 and 70 meters above sea level, a rare place, shaped by time and stone.
Birth of an ambition
In 1996, the De Schepper family fell in love with this terroir and saw it as an opportunity to write a new chapter in their winemaking history. Their ambition was clear: to create an exceptional wine, combining the refinement of traditional expertise with the precision of the most modern techniques.
